When I look to solutions, I can think of nothing else but to reduce our human population. If we only had a couple billion people on earth, given our present technology, we could live in paradise. But to continue growing can only lead to its' opposite. The thing is, those who wish to prosper, desire cheap labor. Poverty and desperation help keep wages down. So if you're rich, buy off the most prominent church leaders to speak out on behalf of our elites. And these photos show the result. Fretting over thoughtless cells with but human potential leads to fully grown, starving, suffering kids. If they should survive, they will work cheap, whether for a factory or, if nothing else, a terrorist network or maybe piracy. . . For myself, I'd prefer paradise. So how would you bring such about? Is torture really the key, do you think?

Don't worry, President Obama will bring them to the U.S. so we can give them a better life. Unfortunately they will have to wait until he brings in all the poor Mexicans.

I cannot believe some of the heartless comments I have seen posted here. A dead child is a dead child, no matter where, and it's just as much of a tragedy when it happens in Haiti as it was when it happened in New Orleans. Second, the photographer didn't get to pick the ads that went on this page, so please quit accusing him of exploiting these people. And, on a related subject, if you find these images objectionable because they make you sad (and they make me sad, too) then DO something more constructive than criticizing the person who made you see something you didn't want to. The best thing I have seen in this thread was maybe one of the earliest posts: Lord have mercy, Christ have mercy. Indeed. On the victims of this tragedy, and on all who feel no compassion at seeing them.

These pics are horrific instead of worrying about how firm Obama's abs are, how the first lady Michelle Obama dresses, or how fat your favorite actor/actress has gotten, you need to focus on the progression that make this world better. Your are Selfish. Their today can become our tomorrow, and what will there be to say.

WTF is this! These pics are horrific, and are the sadness that this world needs and can't provide "HELP". Instead of worrying about how firm Obama abs are, the way the first lady dresses, and how fat your favorite actor/actress gotten, try and focus on the progression that is needed for us in this world to have hope. You selfish sons of Bi***hes need to realize the world we live in is not just about you, and that theirs today can become ours tomorrow.
